Inspired by how the NBA banned the black and red Air Jordan 1 in 1985 due to rebelling against uniform guidelines, the colorway returned for this special release in 2011 featuring a tonal “X” on each heel and a premium soft leather construction. Extremely limited, the shoe only released at select Nike outlets and is now one of the most sought-after Air Jordan 1s ever produced.
